Plot Summary:
Jenma Natchathiram is a supernatural thriller that explores the dark and eerie intersection of dreams, destiny, and cult beliefs. Thaman (Taman Aakshan) and his pregnant wife Malvi Malhotra are thrust into a terrifying situation when his recurring nightmares begin to mirror real-life horror. When a friend leads them to a crumbling factory in search of hidden money meant to save a baby’s life, Thaman discovers traces of a Satanic cult operating in the shadows.

As horrifying visions and unexplained events intensify, the line between dream and reality blurs. What connection does Malvi’s pregnancy have to the supernatural? Can Thaman protect his friends and wife from a dark force beyond understanding?

Performances:
Taman Aakshan is convincing as the rational yet emotionally driven protagonist. His performance brings urgency and empathy to the story. Malvi Malhotra delivers a compelling portrayal of a woman haunted by terrifying visions, adding depth and vulnerability to the emotional core of the film.

Supporting roles by Maithreya, Raksha Cherin, Shivam, and Arun Karthi bolster the narrative. Veterans like Kali Venkat, Munishkanth, Velaramamoorthy, and Thalaivasal Vijay bring gravitas and help maintain tension throughout.

Cinematography and Music:
Cinematographer KG deserves applause for creating a haunting atmosphere, particularly in the eerie, dilapidated factory scenes. The visual tone of the film supports the horror theme effectively, enhancing the suspense.

Sanjay Manickam’s music is a major asset. The chilling background score intensifies the fear factor, especially during the supernatural sequences. The soundtrack blends well with the unfolding psychological tension.

Direction and Screenplay:
Director B. Manivarman takes a bold step into occult horror, blending themes of satanic worship, nightmares, and unexplained spiritual phenomena. While the ambitious narrative could have been more cohesively told, the core concept is thought-provoking: what if evil beliefs became real?

Despite some story complexity, Manivarman’s attempt to visualize evil in human form brings something new to the Tamil horror genre. His vision is backed by a sincere effort to deliver both thrills and deeper reflections on belief systems.
