Here, life competes with art, budget and brevity competes with grandeur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the recently concluded Indian film festival of Chennai (IFFC), Jayaparkash, the director had mentioned that \u2018The Mosquito Philosophy\u2019 was produced with just 1 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/i0.wp.com\/openmictamil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2632\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arguably the first mumble core film made in Tamil, it borrows heavily from the dogme95 movement. Shot in 6 hours without any written scripts or dialogues, \u2018Mosquito Philosophy\u2019 does not have retakes either. Cinematographer Jathin Shaker Raj, also the co-producer, shot the entire movie impromptu with available lights. Besides the lead actor Suresh and the director, no one among the cast and crew knew about the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mosquito Philosophy\u2019 is Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan\u2019s second film after the critically acclaimed film \u2018LENS\u2019 . Jayaprakash had received the Gollapudi Srinivas National award for the \u2018Best debut director\u2019 for \u2018LENS\u2019. LENS is streaming worldwide on Netflix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/i0.wp.com\/openmictamil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/image-8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2631\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jathin sanker raj is the producer and director of the quirky Tamil comedy \u2018Odu Raja Odu\u2019 which streams on Netflix.
