Loyola College, Chennai – 600 034 commemorates the 100th year of its education ministry.
Founded in 1925 by Rev. Fr. Bertram SJ, Loyola College has emerged as a beacon of academic excellence in India. Ever since its inception, it has imparted quality education, offered civic and political leadership formation, focused on education for those at the margins, maintained economic and environmental justice, and fostered secularism and peace. Recognized as a “College of Excellence” by the Government of India, this autonomous institution boasts a rich history of nurturing exceptional talent across diverse fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the past century, Loyola has produced a remarkable lineage of alumni who have excelled in science, research, academia, business, sports, and many other domains. Loyola Alumni Association (LAA), with over 60,000 members, stands as a testament to this enduring legacy.
