Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations and directed by Vamsi Paidipally, Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ has released as a Pongal feast and is running successfully.

Thaman composed the music for the film, which stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, R Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth Meka, Shaam, Sangitha, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan and others in important roles. Lyricist Vivek has also penned the lyrics along with the additional screenplay and dialogues
