Cheer for CSK, Ride for Free: Chennai Super Kings Partners with MTC for TATA IPL 2025
For the second consecutive year, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has teamed up with the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Chennai) Limited (MTC) to provide free bus rides for fans attending TATA IPL 2025 matches at Chepauk.
Fans with valid match tickets can avail themselves of free travel on MTC non-AC buses starting three hours before the match, making it easier and more convenient to reach the stadium. The match ticket itself will serve as the travel pass.
K.S. Viswanathan, Managing Director of Chennai Super Kings, emphasized the importance of this initiative:
“This partnership aligns with our vision of offering a seamless and fan-friendly matchday experience. We encourage fans to use public transport and be part of the electrifying atmosphere at Chepauk.”
In 2024, around 8,000 fans used this service for each game, and CSK expects even greater participation this year. Chennai Super Kings will play their first home match at Chepauk on March 23 against Mumbai Indians.
