The ARC 33rd National Tenpin Bowling Championships, held from 25th to 30th November 2024 at Amoeba, Church Street, Bangalore, concluded with spectacular performances from top players across the country.
Men’s Final:
Akaash Ashok Kumar from Karnataka clinched his 3rd National Title, defeating Shaik Abdul Hameed of Delhi with a score of 425-353 in a two-game title clash. This marks Akaash’s 7th consecutive Final appearance.
In the Stepladder round, Shaik Abdul Hameed overcame Dhruv Sarda of Delhi (433-335) to secure his spot in the Final. Earlier, Dhruv Sarda defeated Tamil Nadu’s Shabbir Dhankot (412-372) in Match 1.
Notable finishes included:
- 4th Place: Shabbir Dhankot (Tamil Nadu)
- 5th Place: Ganesh N T (Tamil Nadu)
- 7th Place: Mahipal Singh (Tamil Nadu)
Women’s Final:
Sumathi Nallabantu of Andhra Pradesh triumphed over Karnataka’s Preemal J with a score of 342-286, claiming her 4th National Crown.
Sumathi’s journey to victory included wins against:
- Anuradha Sarda (Delhi): 356-272
- Kashmira Kudale (Maharashtra): 424-309
