CSK and their exclusive digital partner Trell launch

Chennai, Oct 3: Multiple-time Indian Premier League champions Chennai Super Kings have signed up lifestyle-video app Trell as an associate partner for the ongoing 2020 season being played in the UAE.

The exclusive association gives Trell and its users digital access to a host of CSK fan-favourite content like match moments, behind the scenes, player stories, player video bytes and other content unseen on the official @ChennaiIpl handle during the IPL-13 edition.

Recently, the two partners announced the launch of a new campaign on Trell #CSKMillionStrong, with an aim to bring together millions of enthusiastic fans to share their videos on the app and create a world record. Participation in the campaign gives an opportunity for fans to meet their favourite CSK team players online (since they can’t meet their cricket idols offline this year) and a chance to win prizes to the tune of Rs 35 crore.

The #CSKMillionStrong campaign has a peppy anthem composed and sung by Benny Dayal and choreographed by the popular dance troupe DanceFit Live. The anthem has created a viral surge across social media and the Trell app, with fans dancing and enthusiastically cheering for the team.

CSK, runners-up last year, are the most consistent team in IPL history, having qualified for the Playoffs in all their previous 10 seasons, reached the final eight times and lifted the trophy thrice.

Commenting on the tie-up, CSK CEO KS Viswanathan said: “It’s an exciting partnership that promises to thrill CSK fans in the digital space. The team and management also wish Trell all success for the world record bid with the #CSKMillionStrong anthem.”
